This is his way of giving back to the community for a very rewarding lifetime career in pumps.
During his career, including as pump department manager and mostly as hydraulic specialist, he was involved in the design, manufacture, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, upgrade, and hydraulic re-rate of thousands of centrifugal pumps, both in the new equipment (OEM) and aftermarket sectors for which he received various accolades and engineering achievement awards.
Some unsolicited accolades
“Good to know we have a TOP NOTCH hydraulic engineer. ” – B. K.
“I like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Araza for joining us this week and assisting with the training. Your input made the class even more interesting and enlightening.” – D. R.
“You’re not only a scholar, but also a gentleman.” – K. L.
“You are absolutely unbelievable. It seems like you are working 24 hours a day. We really appreciate your support and guidance. - L. K.
“The folks that you helped out at Tesoro Refinery in Mandan ND had nothing but praise for you.” – L. B.
“Coastal Aruba Refining is experiencing operation problems. They are requesting someone of the qualifications of Mr. Araza, or Mr. Araza himself, to visit the facility as quickly as possible.” – A. O.
“We had the opportunity to work with Mr. Araza on the redesign of the impeller and modification of the casing of P-6202A. The modifications were necessary to reduce the effects of cavitation due to lack of NPSHA. The redesigned pump has continuously been operated up to this date without any failure. This has been a resounding success considering that this pump was changed out two times a week with broken shaft. The same modifications were carried out on the other pumps P-6202B and P-2752A/B.” – C. A.
“I like to thank you in writing for your continuous, outstanding, and on time technical support.” – J. M.
